N2BHS-CKP "Moonshadow" was born August 21, 2017, the day of a solar eclipse.  She was a chestnut mare and had white hind hooves and socks.   She gave birth to her first foal, a chestnut filly, on April 2, 2021 (in the picture with her).  She and her foal were injured in a vehicle accident in early July and Moonshadow succumbed to her injuries on 7/6/2021.  

Her foal,  nicknamed "Moonbeam" was transferred to Chincoteague to receive veterinary care and was treated well.   In March, 2022, Moonbeam was given to  Tipson Myers of Stoney Creek Chincoteagues  because it was felt she would not survive in the wild. . She now resides  there and is thriving.
