M6MS-G "Chestnut", named by Emily Dickenson, was born sometime in early May of 2008. His dam is the late M6MS "Rosie", and his sire was T3M "Bolt". Chestnut acquired his first band in 2014 at 6 years of age. Today, he now has one of the largest bands within the MD herd. The band can be found on the Northern portion of the island, often across from the Ocean City airport and inlet.
Chestnut has sired six foals, all of which remain within their birth band - for now! Also in Chestnut's band are mares M2EINR-B "Rohan", N2BHS-E "Eve" and T6K-A "Bonnie".
