Interesting Tidbits: Sham was only 3.5 years old when he acquired his first band by being in the right place at the right time; he gathered up a mare and her young daughter that were unattended by a stallion. He was never without a mare after that. He was the oldest stallion on record and was humanely euthanized a little over the age of 24 due to an injury
