N2BHS-MRV "Impossible Dream" was born May 20, 2023, to dam N2BHS-MR "Sease's Bay Breeze". The probable sire is N2BHS-AG "Joy".
Impossible Dream was named by JoAnn Lamp through a Name That Foal fundraising raffle. JoAnn chose the name in loving memory of her late husband, Professor Joe Lamp, PhD, who was an avid animal advocate and applied his skills as a researcher and professor to his volunteer work on behalf of those who "could not speak for themselves”. His passion was chasing the “impossible dream” of saving Maryland’s wildlife from harm. He advocated from inside state government serving 13 years on MD Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Advisory Commission. Joe also helped found Maryland Votes for Animals (MVFA), a political action group dedicated to advocating for the rights of animals. His crowning achievement with MFVA was helping draft and pass legislation in 2018 that created a funding stream to help low-income Marylanders get their pets spayed and neutered. To date, over 100,000 procedures have been funded through that legislation."
Impossible Dream remains with her birth band. They reside in the Developed Area year-round, often bouncing between the State and National Park
