N2BHS-APU "Jack Seabright" was born March 27, 2022, to N2BHS-AP "Linda Rae's Autumn Glory" and N10T-JO "Assateague Phoenix".
He was named by Christine and Daniel Utter of Ocean Pines, MD. Winning bidders of the Name That Foal fundraising auction say they chose the name in honor of a baby they lost that would have been named Jackson. In looking to also connect the foal’s new name to his dam, Autumn Glory, and sibling, N2BHS-APT "Morning Glory", they came across Seabright, a boy's given name of British origin. This oceanic name comes from the Old English, Seabert, meaning "glory of the sea," which symbolizes the baby's ability to navigate changing tides as he heaves to and sets sail in life!
Jack and little sister, N2BHS-APV "Little Acorn", are off on their own now and can often be seen roaming around the Developed Area together.
