N2BHS-AIOU "Tako Kichi" was born sometime in late May of 2022, to dam N2BHS-AIO "Mieke's Noe'lani" and sire N9BFQ-GL "Mr Frisky Hooves". She was named by Jo-Ann Rasmussen through the Name That Foal fundraising raffle. The name Tako Kichi loosely translates to "kite crazy" in Japanese, in honor of the kite flying hobby Jo-Ann shares with her spouse, Rich Miller. The couple says, "we hope Tako Kichi will run like the wind as she grows up and lives her life wild and free on Assateague Island!"
