Interesting Tidbits: In 1988, Scotty was set to be transferred to Chincoteague, VA as he (and his some of his band mates) had become known as the island "moochers" - always approaching people looking for handouts. Scotty, however, had different plans. He managed to bust through the corral and make the great escape! Soon after, he settled down with a young mare M61 "Scotty's Girl" and managed to keep himself out of trouble. He lived a long, healthy life and passed away due to natural causes around the ripe old age of 24.
