Interesting Tidbits: Name That Foal winner, Leslie Freeman of Ocean City, MD, says: "When I saw her photos at only days old, I said, “That’s Chantilly Lace alright, pretty face and a ponytail, hanging down.” We’ve decided her nickname will be Lacey." Sadly, Chantilly Lace died in October 2019 just shy of 6 months old due to natural causes. It was determined that she had an internal blockage known as intussusception.
