Born: 1981
Died: Unknown
Sire: M8 “Ted”
Dam: N9 *See notes below*
Sex: Mare
Color: Bay pinto with a star, left hind stocking and three other socks
Longest time spent with one band: 4 years with N6EIM “Connie”
Descendants: T5AFP “AR Arianna”, T5AFQ and T5AFS “Andre”
Usual Range: MD/VA State Line to Valentine's on the OSV
Interesting Tidbits: Genetic testing showed that Taffy's (and her genetically proven sister, T5AG “Aggie”) dam was NOT T5A "Avonne", like originally thought. Taffy's dam was actually unnamed mare N9. The confusion between the two bay-colored mares occurred during the mid-80s when the herd was not as closely monitored.
