Interesting Tidbits: Yankee's name was suggested by Bob Opatovsky and Linda Durkos when they sent in a picture of the new colt waving around an American flag on the 4th of July holiday. He grew up to be a successful harem stallion and could often be seen near the causeway and State Park in the Developed Area. Yankee lost his band to younger stallion/offspring N2BHS-O “Sarah's SweetTea" in December of 2020 and was forced to retreat north. He spent his last 3 years as a retired bachelor
