Description

Discover how Mother Nature shaped the fate of Assateague Island, eliminated plans for development, and led to the creation of the National Seashore. Using archival photography and video, presenter Christopher Seymour, will revisit three major storms of the last century and their impacts on the island. Refreshments available at 10:30am. The program is free and open to the public. All gifts of donation support Assateague Island’s Alliance’s mission to promote the awareness and protection of Assateague Island National Seashore’s wildlife and natural resources for the enjoyment of current and future generations.  Meet at the Assateague Environmental Education Center (EEC) located at 7206 National Seashore Lane, Berlin, MD 21811
