N2BHS-CKPT, "Moonbeam" is a chestnut mare and has a white blaze.    She and her dam were injured in a vehicle accident in early July and her dam succumbed to her injuries on 7/6/2021.

She had been nicknamed "Moonbeam" (which is now her permanent name) and was transferred to Chincoteague, VA on 7/12/2021 to receive veterinary care.  The plan was to keep her in the wild in Assateague, VA as part of the herd of Chincoteague Ponies.   However, though she had been treated with great care while at Chincoteague, in March, 2022, Moonbeam was given to  Tipson Myers of Stoney Creek Chincoteagues  because it was felt she would not survive in the wild.  She now resides at Stoney Creek and is thriving.
